A few days ago, we published our #TwitterJail story here in our blog. It was a very emotional moment for us, since we saw our access to more than 10k followers blocked over a honest mistake. You can read the whole ordeal here.
The good news is: we got our Talent Protocol Twitter account back! After many attempts, desperate campaigns and reaching out to everyone we knew who - so we thought - could help, we got liberated and our beloved account is up and running again.
How we kept on fighting for Twitter freedom 🕊️
Our efforts to unlock our account where many and in many fronts. First of all, we reached out to Twitter support. Yes, it is very obvious but truth is - we didn't get a satisfying action from them for more than a month.
When we got the picture that things wouldn't be as fast as we predicted, we started by spreading the word and initiating a trend to hopefully get some attention. #FreeTalentProtocol and #TwitterJail hashtags are born and shared by so many community members ☮️
As days went by and EthDenver approached, it was obvious that we couldn't live without a Twitter channel. So, we actually have to thank this whole situation for the fact that it prompted us to launch something we were planning to launch for a long time: Talent House's very own Twitter account!
We also kicked off our Lens account, renewing our faith in a true decentralized world.
We also launched a temporary Talent Protocol Twitter account but never mind that now. 😅
But we didn't stop.
We launched a Meme contest and a bounty to reward anyone who could successfully connect us to someone from Twitter. This turned out to be the best bet ever, since it resulted in Talent Protocol getting back into the Twitter game.
So here it is, folks. Our story of imprisonment and breaking free. We just decided to tell it to you so maybe you can share with someone who's also struggling with something similar.
Now, let's tweet! 🐦
